Advance Scaffolding offers a complete scaffolding service of sales, hire and erection to the building and construction industries, ranging from small access towers to major construction works. We provide scaffolding for many different trades with design facilities and calculation drawings for all specialized projects. Health & Safety & Insurances
At Advance Scaffolding safety is our main priority, whether it is our own workforce, contractor's working on the scaffolding or members of the general public. We provide risk assessments, safety policies, and method statements and also employ the Scafftag System along with tool box talks for operatives on a weekly basis. Mr Daniel Ashmore our safety scaffold inspection officer also runs our projects and estimating department along with Mr Dave Ashmore the director of the company.
Our Company employs an independent health and safety consultancy agent Simian Risk Management Consultation team who gives us their most excellent experienced advice in all aspects of health and safety with regards to our office, yard and site projects and most importantly our operatives, clients and members of the public. we get weekly updates and advice on all aspects of scaffolding, health and safety, NASC updates. Simian also will go to site to check, observe and advice on all our site work and give detailed reports. Our scaffolders adhere to-to ensure a good safe job and follow the guideline to TG20.13 and SG4-15 .
In recent years there has been a dramatic change in the construction industry none more so than in the scaffolding sector where there has been an increasing demand for companies to meet the highest health and safety criteria to protect from accident and harm of their own employees, the workforces of other organisations who need to work on scaffolding and to the general public you can be assured that we are fully insured with Royal Sun Alliance for public liability, product liability and employer's liability. Our Insurance brokers Towergate aid us constantly by doing site health and safety evaluations and guide us in the right direction for improvements were needed. We strive to continually adopt and adapt working practices to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the latest legislation. At the same time, we encourage our workforce to obtain the highest levels of skills through our ongoing training schemes.
Quality
As a scaffolding company with all operatives with CITB & CISRS trained with cards ready for inspection anytime, we have no problem in ensuring the full safety and quality of scaffolding meets all our clients' standards completely. Our workforce, small fleet of vehicles which are inspected weekly and large quantity of weekly serviced materials guarantee's your job to be fast, efficient and professional, with customer service, health and safety being our first priority.
Qualifications
Our experienced team of scaffolders carry various levels of certification, all our workforce are CITB registered and local authority approved. We strive to work with the CITB and their registered training college Simians to encourage our young and older operatives to gain more qualifications & experience in all areas of scaffolding, first aid, emergency first aid at heights and health safety.
Our Staff are trained in mobile elevation platforms they carry their PAL (Powered Access Licence) card with them, along with their CITB/CISRS cards ready for inspection on time on site.
All new employees have an induction to the Company, a Health CITB and Safety induction and Tool Box Talks with regards to Manual Handling and SC4-15, ongoing Tool Box Talks to various aspects of working safely to TG20-13.
Our staff are supplied, with full high visibility overalls with our name on the back for quick identification and are fully kitted with all PPE for their safety and protection for all aspects of work.
